Research Associate, Cancer Immunotherapy


We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us as a Research Associate in our Therapeutic research team. The successful candidate will work with the research team to support our efforts in designing and developing novel immunotherapies to treat cancer. Working independently with minimal supervision, he or she will be expected to design and perform experiments, organize and analyze results, and communicate and present findings in team meetings. The candidate will report to a Scientist on the team or to the team leader, depending on their level of experience. 



  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of relevant lab experience, or Master’s Degree with at least 2 years of relevant lab experience. More extensive experience preferred.
  • Hands-on expertise in immune cell function assays, including proliferation, viability, and cytokine/chemokine release.
  • Expertise in T-cell isolation and expansion methods. Proficient in cell culture aseptic technique.
  • Experience in viral and non-viral methods of gene transfer.
  • Ability to perform multi-parameter flow cytometry.
  • Experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, cloning and western blot.
  • Experience with mouse models preferred.
  • Self-motivated and flexible. Willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description.
  • Desire to learn.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and record keeping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate results to a diverse cross-functional audience.


Strongly preferred:

  • Industry experience in the fields of immunology and/or immuno-oncology.
